Cassoulet with duck confit

The image of good living and good food, our cassoulet is a true gastronomic dish.

A dish we love to place on the table with a good bottle, or two, of Buzet, Cahors or Bordeaux.

"The third half-time" as we say here in the South West, a time of sharing with friends!

Ingredients : White cannellini beans from Castelnaudary, sauce made with duck fat and tomatoes, duck confit 25%, pork and Toulouse sausage, Armagnac 1%, spices, salt and pepper.

Traditional conserve 4 years

To prepare : Open the tin and place in a bain-mairie to melt the duck fat and to enable an easier transfer to an earthenware or ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and reheat in a hot oven for 20mins.

Serve with a bottle, or two, of Buzet, Cahors or Bordeaux....bon appetit!
